Third party batteries are hit and miss that’s the beauty of older iPhones they are 100% customizable pretty much post a follow up a bit from now letting us know how it goes

oh yeah ok then

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

Yea they can be hit and miss I’m just wondering if I should get a third party also lol

I wouldn’t personally but you do want you want

I know there’s good and bad ones out there it’s just picking out the good battery among all the bad

very true

Please don’t. My 6s plus had a battery from eBay and it no longer works. Fried the phone

was it a OEM battery or a third party seller battery

You could make money with this and you can say it’s got a new battery
.

Exactly, sure could and then upgrade to a all newer iPhone and be straight

You get what you pay for. If you’re planning to sell, get a cheap battery. If you’re planning to keep it, spend a little more and get an Apple or a good branded battery.
sells good battery replacements.

Turning brightness to automatically and keeping it low makes

Turning brightness to automatically and keeping it low makes a huge difference in how long your battery will last, it will auto adjust based on lighting

Don’t put the screen always to 100% brightness because of screen burn in

screen burn hasn’t been a thing since 2009

yes it has over time when you put your screen to 100% always your screen starts to go bad

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

I never have my screen on full brightness

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

Yeah, there a sensor in the notch for it

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

I mean like are all iPhone users dumb??. Ofcourse you should ALWAYS use auto brightness.

wow nef. Mad rude, I was just saying with comparing what causes the highest battery drain your sceen brightness is at the top, I always like mine at 100% and always did, even Bluetooth uses a lot and programs running in the back, not everyone is tech savvy like I am so what may seem simple to you and me may not be to others, remember that

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

You know what else will help make your battery last?
Turn off your Bluetooth if you’re not using it.

that will make very little difference

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

So what you’re saying is if you use something less, it will wear out slower? NO WAI

based on apple and other tech, yes it will extend your battery life

Yes. Should never be below 99 for any reason.

I don’t know what’s funnier the question or the answers

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

When the time comes you will get message about battery service, before that, you don’t need to replace it if you don’t have any major issues!

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

Its just an estimate not accurate, just observe it yourself, if your phone doesnt last a day you should get your battery replaced (depending on your usage)

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

You should seek therapy!

My iphone se 2016 has now 74% and when i watch video on youtube battery percentage drops from 100 to 70 within minutes. At least wait till it gets below 75%

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

Sure if u are having to charge it multiple times a day. But no if it still serves your needs throughout the day. I recommend waiting until 80 or 75.

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

You will receive a service message when it’s time to replace the battery. But if you’re having issues then change it now. If not just enjoy your phone until the time comes.

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

Wait until it drops below 80%

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

Is that an iPhone Xʀ??

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

This is mine on iPhone 11 and it still makes it through most of the day and lasts almost as good as it always has. I plan on changing it out in June or July this year.

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

No. You really need to worry about the battery if it gets below 70% capacity.

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

it will tell you when to replace it. Mine didn't need to be replaced until down to 65%

How long did it take you to get there l?

-4 years (iPhone 8 Plus).

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

If it’s not lasting as long as your needs require change it, if it is hold off n get your use out of that battery till it isn’t cutting it anymore then replace:)

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

I recommend waiting until it's under 80 or 75

avatar
March 11, 2022, 10:15 p.m.

Replace battery sure. But I’d live with it till I get the notification to replace the battery (around 75%) gotta get the goodie out of it.

I know people still rockin a iPhone 4 just like when it was new. And I honestly don’t blame em. It’s a sweet phone

avatar
