A month ago I bought my first iPhone, after 7 years of ...
A month ago I bought my first iPhone, after 7 years of Android devices. This is iPhone SE 2020, black, 64 GB. After a month of use, I am very satisfied with this device. Fast, compact, useful. You can feel the ease of the operating system and the power of iOS.
This SE has fabulous performance in every way. The speed with which they can access applications, or unlock the phone via Touch ID, is how Apple makes very good phones for users.
Design, Size & Screen
An iPhone 6s, 7 or 8 in a 2020 device. I don't mind its size at all. It is compact and easy to use with one hand. The screen size, the 4.7 inches is small for 2020, but not for me. The image quality on SE 2020 is decent, I have no problem with that.
My favorite part of the phone is the camera, which pleasantly surprised me. The pictures are wow. Clearly, the colors are exactly like in the real world, all thanks to the A13 Bionic chip, the chip on the iPhone 11 range. In the video, things look perfect. Stability, good clarity at 4K resolution, from this point of view, the camera is a big plus for the iPhone SE 2020.
The most criticized aspect of this phone is the battery life. The 1821 mAh capacity is very small for a smartphone in 2020, but it depends on the user how long the battery lasts. In my case, the battery lasts a day, a day and a half or even two days. I'm an average user, I don't stay on it non-stop. I use it for calls, social networking, pictures and videos, YouTube, Netflix and HBO Go.
For the battery to last me a long time, and for the health of the battery to be very good as much as possible, when I don't use it, I leave the brightness at a low level. I use the dark mode, and the low battery mode is turned on all the time when I don't charge it. The phone charges in a little over 2 hours from 0 to 100%, but if I discharge it at 25 or 30%, in an hour and a half it is at its maximum. On standby, it's spotless. Overnight, no more than one percent is lost from the battery before bed.
Apps and Storage
I chose the 64 GB model. For me it is more than enough. The applications I have are: Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, Google, Chrome, Google Maps, Google Photo, GMail, Google Translate, HBO Go, Netflix, F1 TV or WWE, plus platforms for watching TV programs. I don't fill my memory with pictures. I make them and save them in Google Photo, where I have unlimited storage space and after deleting the photos.
If in the USA, the starting price of iPhone SE 2020 is 399 $, in Romania, the starting price of SE was 2400 lei (495.84 € / 584.5 $). This month has its first discount since its launch, it was reduced by 100 lei (20.66 € / 24.35 $), it will probably have a more serious discount in November, when it will be Black Friday, it will probably arrive around 2000 lei (413.22 € / 487.21 $).
Switching from Android to iOS
I enter the Apple ecosystem after 2 tablets and 3 Android smartphones. My last Android device that I still have is the Samsung Galaxy J6 +. The phone is ok, but in video the image was not stable. The transition to iOS was not difficult at all. I'm switched to a very easy, stable and secure operating system. Apple is doing a good job of convincing people to buy their products.
I recommend it?
The answer is yes and no. Yes for those who want a compact and long-lasting phone, but also for medium use. No, for those who sit on it from early morning to late evening, for those who want to play their favorite games, like PUBG or Asphalt. Even if we find the chip on the iPhone 11/11 Pro / 11 Pro Max, and the performance of large caliber games is superior, I still do not recommend it for games. Battery life will suffer.
Who do I recommend it for?
Who has an iPhone 6s, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus (for 7/7 Plus, if the phone is bought in the year of launch or a year or two after launch, and for 8/8 Plus if it was bought in launch or one year after launch), for those who have an iPhone SE (2016 model), or for Android users who want to switch to Apple, but can't afford a lot of money for the best iPhones, this iPhone SE 2020 is perfect for you. For those who have the iPhone X and 11 ranges, for those who got their iPhone 7/7 Plus and 8/8 Plus in 2019 or 2020 or are waiting for the official launch of the new iPhone 12, but also the vast majority of Android users, it is natural that they don't need this phone.
In conclusion, in the world of technology, it is the most controversial phone launched in 2020, but even so, iPhone SE 2020 will be successful and will reach the hands of many users, due to the fact that it is the cheapest starting price of an iPhone in the last 4 years, due to the fact that it is an "iPhone 11 in an iPhone 8 body" through the prism of the A13 Bionic chip, but also through the prism of the design that was very successful among Apple users, through Touch ID. Even though the iPhone X and 11 have facial recognition, in this period when the COVID-19 pandemic is everywhere, and in many countries the decision has been made to make the protective mask mandatory, this iPhone SE 2020 is perfect in terms of security. A small but powerful phone.
Thank you for your review! Please don’t mind the stupid reactions. There are some people who don’t have time to read your review. But do have the time to post stupid reactions that lead to ... nowhere.
on the flip side I switched from android for the first time since I owned the 4s and I won’t be going back in a hurry
iOS makes it feel like a fragmented mess with no clear direction or road map where as Apple has built a great eco system with top notch developer support and devices that jus work together and Apple silicone is just going to take it to the next level 🤷🏻♂️
To me, a Windows 10 tablet (Surface Pro 7) is still better than iPad.
But iPhone is better than android phones.
Welcome to the real world, you made just the right choice. If you ask me, android phones are just a bunch of calculators.
in a few as aspects like battery life and screen for sure but in others like eco system , cpu gpu, services, support , wireless charging etc etc nooooooo way lol 😂
Battery life’s never been my issue that’s why you can at least replace them in phones I keep mine from 20-30 percent and charge to 90-100% each time and it’s lasted me years I got the original se
Plus those flat edges, no camera bump, the screen fit your hand perfectly. I upgraded from a 6 to an Xʀ the other day and the screen is just massive
For me it was a no go because of battery and screen size as I like to edit photos and the small screen isn’t as pleasing to do it on
Great phone a bit limited by battery , I would be taken a thicker build for better battery but then it wouldn’t have been as cheap because of a redesign 🤷🏻♂️
Wait oooh you purposely wrote all these just to tell us that you bought your first iPhone after seven years of using Android?? Sorry I couldn’t read it to the end
I had the iPhone 8 before and I really liked it, to me it feels lime the updated version of it. Great phones.
Now I have the iPhone 11 pro as I wanted a real big upgrade and Im loving it!
I see a lot of questions coming by about the battery ca ...
I see a lot of questions coming by about the battery capacity. On the iphone it is just a gimmick. If you really want to know your battery's state of health you've got to calculate yourself. I have an old samsung galaxy note 9 with a 4000mah battery. I placed it on the charger at 12% and charged it to 100% with a USB tester in between. This device shows exactly how many mah / watthours is going through. Ive got only 2266mah in my 4000mah battery over 88%. That is a battery capacity of 68%. After 2 years of use. I cant get trough a day anymore on 1 single charge, so it is time to either replace the battery or get a new phone. If i would replace the battery i also have to replace the screen because it has a crack in there 🤣
Running your battery down to 12% is not helping the matter either. Charging from that low of a state will cause the battery to get too warm. You should have started recharging it before it dropped below 20%.
Just to let people know since I see a lot of people wor ...
Just to let people know since I see a lot of people worried about their iPhones having lower battery percentages in battery health. The battery health part of the settings at is at best a guesstimate by iOS on how much of a charge your battery can actually hold. Newer devices should hold more due to the battery being newer. Older ones normally have less. The chemicals in the batteries age over time. This is because the chemicals in newer phones are not as old. Also your battery life also depends on how you charge it and how many cycles you go through. Another thing that affects battery life, and cycles are how much you use the phone and how power intensive apps are, if you are on Wi-Fi and if you are using blue tooth. A good rule from what I have seen and read is to keep your battery between 20 and 80% charge to help with the longevity of it. I however charge it to 100% about every 2 days and have not seen any problems. Now as the battery gets older and isn’t able to hold as much of a charge I may charge it once a day. Hope this helps everyone.
iPhone 13 Pro Max 256GB
Bought on the launch day and even after playing too much of PUBG the battery is still at 100% health 😎
I charge once everyday as the battery life on this device is amazing!!
I had my iPhone X since I came out I never checked it’s battery health till today. Don’t worry about it. I don’t know what I did but it’s only at 90% battery health
While this is true. Not all batteries are the same. Let’s say your using a 13 pro max, bought brand new…. Moderate usage & the battery health is at 80% or lower then there might be a defect with the battery
Bottom line: people who buy pre-owned look at battery health. Regardless of your opinion about it, unless you’re the one buying their second hand phone with your own cash, they probably don’t care about your lecture.
very true the way people are taking it like use your phone and forget about the battery health.. if those people are to shop for used phones the first question they would ask is the battery health... even me I can't imagine my self buying a phone with 85% below because I know would time I would have to change the battery which if not done well will make the phone feel not genuine
Not only that, let's say you're not comfortable doing the work yourself, you're paying yet more $$$ to get it fixed.
It's not rocket science, you'll get more money for your phone on the second-hand market if your battery is healthy. Who doesn't like getting more money for the stuff they're selling?
I understand that. I was only posting that to just help those who get nervous about their battery life. I personally generally dont care about mine unless I see it drops 20% quickly.
Exactly! If people still ask about battery % after reading this post then only God will save their tiny brain.
Why are Apple people always moaning about battery life. You pay a 1000 dollar or more for the phone and a new 40 dollar battery is to expensive??????
There is some real justification for using Apple’s batt ...
There is some real justification for using Apple’s battery pack.
1. Portable battery to supplement the iPhones battery with no cables needed. I like that.
2. It’s MagSafe! It sticks right on the back and it actually hangs on very well.
3. The Apple battery uses Apples smart tech to properly charge the iPhone. It won’t charge to the point where heat will start to hurt the iPhones battery or the Apple battery pack. Others cannot do that.
4. With Apples battery pack it will work with Apples baked in widgets. I like that.
5. And, a person gets the cool MagSafe animation when attached to the iPhone. I like that.
6. The Apple battery pack is much more efficient at supplying power to the iPhone over any 3rd party battery on the market. That’s because Apples software is baked into the battery pack.
It’s not about the mAh alone. People are not realizing that Apple’s battery pack is doubling the voltage push to 7.5 volts of power. If a person calculates that, they will see Apple’s battery pack more evenly matches the 3rd party batteries than they think.
Heat will be produced with any wireless charging, no software can stop that as it's the physical nature of wireless charging or any charging. Apple doesn't advertise that it prevents heat
That isn’t what was said.
1. Correct! Wireless charging will produce heat no matter what.
2. However, Apple’s software can regulate the Apple battery pack on duration and voltage of charging to regulate certain temperatures.
3. 3rd party wireless battery packs cannot do this because they do not have access to the iOS software.
4. Apple’s battery pack will know if it is running itself or the iPhone too hot and then throttle its charging back to help not kill the battery.
5. Apple’s battery pack is more efficient this way because it can use iOS 14.7 software to help it charge more efficiently.
but third party battery packs do this too. The iPhone has built in charging control that tells the charger to slow down if it's getting too hot or reaches a certain percentage. That tech has existed for years, not just with Apple charging products. It's built into the phone itself. The advantage of magsafe is it perfectly aligns the charger to the Qi coils in the iPhone which can reduce temperatures and make it more efficient
Not to the point of efficiency that Apples own software can do.
Apple battery pack has access to the iPhone itself whereas 3rd parties cannot do that. MagSafe is much more efficient at charging the iPhone than 3rd parties.
Apple chose efficiency over speed and size of battery and that is why the Apple’s battery pack is what it is.
Also, MagSafe is more than just magnets. That is only part of the tech and in most cases 3rd parties fall down with weaker magnets as well to save money in manufacturing. We already see this.
But, the bottom line is that Apple’s battery pack is going to be the most efficient at charging it’s own phone because of the hardware customized to their software that no 3rd party has access to.
I think that’s only when the case is being charged. Or at least that how they make it seem with the product description
I actually like it a lot. It performs better than expected but I suspect that is because of the misunderstood specs.
The 1460mAh is a bit misleading because it is actually more than that.
If you calculate the 7.6 volts it has with the 11.13 watt hours, that makes the 1460mAh jump to over 2200mAh of charging a product.
YouTubers had to go back and correct their video because that info wasn’t available when they made their first review videos.
But, overall, I really do like it and it really does perform better than expected and what others initially thought.
I disagree. Maybe your iPhone Pro Max is running low. 40-50 percent is better than 0 percent with no usable iPhone. I think there is a use case across all 12 model iPhones.
, well, I have iPhone 12 mini and if I’m good with it it can last the day, but Pro Max have huge battery and last much longer than mini, which means you won’t need that often external battery, and 40% charge will be enough to get through the rest of the day. So I think that Apple think smart and rationally!
I get that. But, that is not to say you won’t be caught out with a low battery or a dead battery and this supplemental power source will come in handy when not able to charge with an AC adapter.
My Pro Max lasts the entire day without issues.
I am taking about the capacity of charging.
On Mini ot fits best and looks good, but on Pro Max….looks bad
, don’t you get it?!? This is not a full power solution, this is an emergency backup power! Small, efficient, useful in those moments when you need just one or two more hours to get home, without cables, without bulky and heavy packs, without needing to press any buttons…
It is meant as a supplement of power to the iPhone and not a charger. It is two different things. However, Yes, the battery is pretty good in both models but that doesn’t mean you wont get caught out with a low or dead battery and this is a nice thing to have when you are in a situation where AC charging isn’t an option.
11 Pro max has no MagSafe to attach itself to the back. But, it will charge the iPhone wirelessly. Yes. Just no MagSafe support.
Yeah, if a person doesn’t have an iPhone 12, I would definitely say a no go on purchasing the Apple battery pack
If your iPhone is wireless charging capable, yes. You just have to remember anything before the iPhone 12 lineup won’t have MagSafe support.
That’s not exactly accurate. Using the Apple battery pack uses Apples software to charge and is much more efficient than 3rd party brands. Apples battery pack can regulate how the temperature between the iPhone and the Apple battery pack may be affected by the heat and adjust the charging so it wont kill that battery as fast. 3rd parties cannot do that at all. There is more to it than a person thinks because the Apple Battery Pack can use Apples baked in tech whereas 3rd parties cannot. So, yes, there is advantages to the Apple Battery Pack.
I don't know what you guys think about new iPhone.. Mos ...
I don't know what you guys think about new iPhone.. Most of the people are disappointed with the phone but really are u guys disappointed with the phone or with the thing that all features were already leaked.. I personally like iPhone 5.. Really what do you guys want apple to do more... They are continuing their most amazing design.. so whats the problem in that.. Atleast its still better than almost all Samsung phones and Nokia phones.. And they introduced their most advanced A6 processor in iphone 5.. They have given you bigger screen.. Their camera is on par or better among all mobile phones(except few).. Their OS is the best.. Battery backup more than any other phone.. How can you say iPhone 5 is not good.. I know we all were waiting for one exclusive feature that was only made for iphone 5.. may be NFC. But its not there.. This doesn't make iPhone 5 any less capable..
Most of us are only fanboyz who don't know anything about innovation and developing OS.. We just want apple to give us something that we see and say WOW.. Holy mother of GOD.. this is amazing.. but dont even know if we will use that feature in daily life.. For eg face recognition.. That is shit to me..
Apple is also a company run by human not by GOD.. So U cant expect them to deliver what u want from them every time.. May be they are not ready with the technology or may b something.. We don't know shit about anything happening in APPLE..
So guys Relax and enjoy this new product and various other like ipod touch.. I am really impressed with it and ipod nano.. I will alwayz love apple for what they have done for mobile and computer industry.. You can me a fanboy of apple because yes I AM A FANBOY.. :)
My 5 Cents on new iPhone and sorry for any grammatical mistakes.. I am no writer.. :)
I have seen multiple sites with user reviews for s3. The phone is good but people are trashing the so called new features saying that they are not really usable. So what's the use of claiming such features to exist!
I am not expecting perfection but the least I wan't is usability after I spend something close to 40K. I am not so rich that I can blow some cash to give a 40K worth smartphone a chance to develop in the future. The R&D should happen before the product is launched but not after it is launched.
Galaxy S2 is a phone which works perfectly fine. Even though it is plasticky it never cracked up like Galaxy S3. I still remember the kinda fuss various websites have created when some users of iPhone 3GS mentioned about hairline cracks on the back. Anything bad about Apple is blown out of proportions but anything bad about competitors is ok :P
CEO of microsoft who said iphone was a joke (when it was released) n now we know who became a joker :D
People often brand me as an Apple fan which I myself won't accept coz I used more Android phones than iPhones. If these is something wrong with a product I accept it frankly and if there is something good about a product I praised that as well. But there are many anti-apple guys and android fans out there who tend to go blind over the negatives of anything non-apple that I hate. When Apple does anything people go ga ga over it and trash Apple as well but when some other company does the same thing no one bothers about it. Sick!
Dammnnn bro u killed it man u killed it u just expressed my thoughts as well...we are always gonna be apple boys...and honestly this is of course the best iphone they came up with...and even i like the ipod nano and new itouch...people
i have used s3 and i am not that impressed with it.. only web browsing was fun.. Gaming was no where near iphone like.. Screen was good.. nothing extraordinary..
camera review was not my own.. its mine as well as my friend who owns s3.. and he is neither apple fan nor samsung. And i dont want features in the name of innovation that has no use in daily life.. Just to increase specification list..
i will bash apple if the same thing happens with them.. Even apple failed with may things like ping etc.. i am a fan boy not blind to overlook apple's wrong doings.. I dont like siri that much too..
lolz what u wanted from apple, a 3d n that virtual keyboard :P
we did bash apple on screen n see they listen to their customers :)
Because they will go on to improve them...just because something isn't perfect doesn't mean you shouldn't explore or try it.. You're a fan boy so I think you'd be biased when reviewing Samsung/
When Apple announces features you don't "need" and won't use in daily life, your stance will change.
^ lol you say this every time then you end up buying from grey market sell it after a month and then again buy one with a indian warranty 😂
iPhone 6 was a game changer and this year I don't find it anything that unique, although they have just updated the specs which we were already expecting in iPhone 6. And what I believe is some features might get activated in Original iPhone 6/6P using Cydia tweaks
I would recommend that the best buy would be iPhone 6 Plus - 64 GB model at ₹ 60,000.
I'm surely not gonna invest in iPhone 6S PLUS
Would rather wait for next model.
If you think iPhone 6 was a game changer, you're wrong. I'm a 5s user and many of my friends got a 6. All I noticed was a bump in screen size. It was just a tad faster than the 5s which holds all the technologies besides the barometer and Apple Pay which aren't that useful. While on the other hand, 6s and 6s Plus is what I'd call the game changers! They come with a camera that's been long waited for a megapixel bump and a video recording up to 4K. Most of you think 3D Touch can be enabled via software tweaking but you're wrong. I've been using the Force Touch trackpad on the MacBook for a while now, and it's splendid and doesn't work without the right hardware. Long pressed and deep presses aren't one and the same. And the least talked feature in the event was the improved Touch ID sensor in the new iPhones, which just need a tap instead of resting your finger on the sensor. Internal specs have also changed and now they feature a 2GB RAM for the first time and the A9 M9 is a single embedded chip that performs and renders graphics twice as fast as the 6. If you still need more, they're now resolved of the bendgate issue with the 7000 series aluminium anodised with zinc body frame! Yeah, and that's what's new.
I never buy the S models. I feel all the S model phones are quick fix releases just to stay afloat with the competition.
I am on iphone 5 , what best about iphone is its still working like a charm with zero problems ... For me performance is key will upgrade to iphone 7 next year !!!
I don't know why .. Every nite i keep it on charge and make my mind to use it the next morning ... & I end up using my basic watch ..
Also i workout daily cardio or outdoor cycle workout & still i don't use de workout apps .. Used them when i was new to Apple watch not anymore
Maybe i am just lazy :P

Apple still sticking to 16gb devices is sad really sad. Goes on to show apple gives a fuck about consumers or their wants. Disappointed
I will b buying new iphone 6s plus but from india only. This tym no excitement abt new iphone. And i m getting 47k for ma 6plus so thinking to sell it out.
Any clue about the new iPhones pricing bro? Will it be increased compared to previous gen models or will remain the same?
Soon apple will reach a point where the tick and tock changes won't be enough to satisfy the expectations of the customers.
This time they are gonna roll out even faster
Expected Arrival in India : OCTOBER END
Tentative Launch Date : 8 NOV
I mean, iPhone 6 was launched on October 17th itself in India right? How can 8th November be faster roll out?
Chinmay Pathak True that man! I wanted a space grey but was sold out by the time I could decide so went for gold.
Don't really know about UAE. Here in India most good apps are not available due to streaming restrictions outside of US. All I use my Apple TV for is to stream content from iPhone or to watch youtube right now and for this Chromecast does a better job to be frank! Even screen mirroring fails to steam smoothly if I try to mirror my macbook pro screen and play a video. I use a Linksys E4500 dual band router so I don't think it's router problem either.
Agree with you Raghu.. I also have same issues.. I have Sony smart TV but it does not recognize most the file format. So recently I found a server app for Mac which allows to stream any movie on TV.. :D

Just got a new iPhone X,256gb ,is it a good mobile for 2020?
iPhone 7 is a good phone tho,I’ve used it,I used it for swimming still d phone works fine, one of my best iPhone haved used so far,
Image Emile young man you’re looking for who to scam, you don’t even look like some one who own iPhone 5 😒
good for u,why would any one want to buy from unknown strangers, when they are trusted sites like ebay ,Amazon’,walmar
i never really sell shipping local only but you could save some money i give good prices i see others that charge like $150 more than me
Aah.. no offense but
A Huge Nope💁🏻♂️
You betta’ go for either XR or 11 series! Bc X(256GB) variant price is actually similar to those🤘🏻
Anyways.. Congrats for your new iphone😇
Why don’t you like the XR? I had it for ages and it was better than my current XS Max. Such an amazing phone never had any problems. Considering it only has 1 camera the phones camera system is pretty decent.
I guess you should’ve asked this before buying it. If you got it as a gift then sell it and buy iPhone 11 Pro series after putting in some more money or wait another month or so for the 12 series.
I want to sale 02 Xs max,
64 Gb gold PTA approved in 130 k with box accessories mint condition
256 GB non PTA black with box aceessorise 120k
I still got mine and it's still a good phone. Although I will probably be upgrading to an iPhone 12 this year.
Iphone 13 pro battery health decreased in just 2 months ...
Iphone 13 pro battery health decreased in just 2 months
Anyone facing the same problem with the pro’s
(No games were played such as pub g or COD mobile)
turn off the phone, keep it in the box and in your drawer. that will keep the battery health up and high for a long time.
That's a lot, my iPhone 12 is a year old and still 100% using the Apple 20w charger. The key is not to charge above 80% and not let it go below 30 or 40%, charging too high or letting it go too low puts a lot of strain on lithium batteries. A number of short charges throughout the day is better than one long charge
BATTERY HEALTH IS NOT ALWAYS GOING TO STAY AT 100%, IT IS NOT A PROBLEM IT GOES DOWN, IT IS JUST NATURAL…
Geez, all this obsession with battery health, how did it even start…
How exactly is this an issue though. Stop overthinking it and simply use your phone. People psych themselves out with that number and in day to day usage you would never notice it
Oh and batteries wear out with use and every person uses their iPhone differently no matter what. Charging and usage patterns are different no matter what so it’s hard say.
It having gone down 1% in two months is not a problem.
Yup! iOS 15 has been hurting the battery on so many iPhones out there. This is not normal. I have an iPhone XR on iOS 12.4 and the battery life is on 100%!! Had the phone for almost three years!
I got the iPhone 12 Pro Max on iOS 15 and the battery life is on 82%!!
My iPhone 12 Pro Max is only 8 months old. So for those that are saying “It’s normal” get your head out of your asś! This isn’t normal. iOS 15 is a battery killer.
You will need to replace the battery once it drops below 80%. Chemical elements in the battery do degrade over time. All I can say is that you shouldn’t get it overheated and always charge once it drops below 50 percents. But it can only slow the degradation. As I’ve stated earlier, you will need to replace it in a couple of years or so. My previous iPhone stayed 100 percent for most of the year, then it quickly deteriorated to 93. Still it was good as new, no worries there. I would just scrub that functionality and give a warning once it’s time to replace the bat.
Just don’t drain the battery less than 60%.
Once it comes down to 60 % recharge it to 90 or even 100 % depending on how your usage estimate is
Thank goodness android doesn't have this. Also every posts is same battery health crap. Leaving this sh*t right now
I got my 13PM 3 days after release, my average screen time is 13 hours, I’m disabled and can’t work, and I get bored. My battery health is still at 100%.
It’s not a “problem”. It’s what happens with batteries. I’ve had my 12 Pro for 7 months and it’s at 93%. Very normal.
Every battery is different and within tolerances … everyone uses their phone different… you’ve lost 1% in 2 months … it’s fine and completely normal it just means you’ve been using your phone which you paid a lot of money for 🤷🏻♂️
I noticed that upgrading to new IOS updates was decreasing my iPhone maximum battery capacity. I stopped upgrading and my percentage is still at 93% since 6 months.
yes my iphone 12 is still on iOS 6 now. i stopped updating the firmware so the battery health will never drop.
This percentage is an estimate that Apple makes. A possible prediction. That, of course, means nothing at all. Just keep in mind that you have to replace a battery once every 2 to 3 years. New batteries are not that expensive. Luckely, you can easily replace the battery of your iPhone yourself.......
That's pretty normal. My 11 Pro got to 98% on the second month and stayed there for almost a year after that.
Each and every battery is unique. Manufacturers usually give the capacity with a tolerance (±3%, for example). This just means that yours was from the below average group.
I remember my 12 pro max got 99% battery health after 5 months but this 13 pro max I have observed that the battery keeps draining even though it is in standby mode.
Mine is on 82 and it’s an iPhone 12 Pro Max and not even a year old. I’m trading this phone in for the S21 Ultra 5G.
yes. I’ve been with them for over ten years. I never once had a battery issue like this on any of my old devices. I don’t trust Apple anymore. I’m leaving.
Battery percent drop is upto charge cycle apple logarithm have designed on that pattern for example it have drop count equivalent to charge cycle
So with iPhones (I don't have one but considering one) I keep reading that if the battery health drops below 80% then it's time to replace the battery?
Why can't the battery go down to let's say 40%?
They shouldn’t start decreasing until at least 6 months later if you have your iPhone cool & don’t let it drop between 30% to 40% battery power and when its reach 30% battery power. Put the iPhone on charge turn off your iPhone while charging & leave it charging over night which reach 100% battery power, but don’t use the iPhone while it is charging because it’s can cause the battery to degrade if you not using while charging plug is in it’s not normally recommended until it’s fully charged at least 80% & not below 80% which can have effect to degrade faster if don’t disconnect it below 80%, but it’s will be 100% in the morning as it’s safer when fully charged overnight while you’ll in bed.
You buy car and after a few years your battery can't use and need to buy a new one tonreplace your battery ..did you ask the same thing to car salesman why i need to change my battery ?

Just for your education : Apple is a Company Smart enough, Mature enough, to realize and admit that Technological Research is not advanced enough yet to put all those cameras and sensors under display.
So stop comparing the value of the Notch to those game toys that can’t make a proper selfie. And I haven’t mentioned the 1:1,000,000 faultless FaceID. Get educated at the end people. It’s becoming annoying frankly!
Apple should do what it wants, and I don't mind that notch on my iPhone, BUT let's not pretend it's 2011 when everything else was shitty.
The "game toys" take amazing pictures and have great sensors.
Apple product owners need to stop lying to themselves.
they probably the first one to complain when the face id is not functioning properly not like the notch version when apple is like some android phone manufacturer that put unmatured tech in their product for the sake of being the first to use the tech 😅
yessss it doesn’t look bad, is packed with features, and creates two spots for the areas where the Notification And control center can be accessed
Apple has the only camera in phone’s category that take your selfie in a correct way correcting everything in the background.
Try taking a selfie with some text written in background and you’ll know what I mean.
Best in class, though it has the smallest camera resolution 😂
It’s about intelligence in manufacturing, not just stupidly advancing things!!!
It has better ratio than fingerprint sensor, but on the other hand twins don't have same fingerprints. Meaning there's more people to spoof face id than fingerprint sensor.
Yes, it takes, but open for both if they're identical. Chance of identical twins is around 1/250. Add this to equation.
I really like FaceID but come on, it’s been proven that touchID is more secure as like what mentioned, twins don’t have the same fingerprints but if they look identical, there’s a chance they can unlock their twin’s phone.
NO. FaceID is far better. It uses equations to surface the curves of your face and ADAPT constantly as you gain or loose weight.
To common sight it can appear that 2 faces look the same but not to a precision geometry projection like FaceID.
Notice the problem hasn’t been reported
And because of that, I am reading the article, to add to my knowledge, and dilute my ignorance. Read it too 😜
“ The statistical probability is different for twins and siblings that look like you and among children under the age of 13, because their distinct facial features may not have fully developed. “ 👍
I wish to know what the ratio is in those cases.
Still FaceID is better than TouchID (which I know how to trick).
