There is some real justification for using Apple’s battery pack.
1. Portable battery to supplement the iPhones battery with no cables needed. I like that.
2. It’s MagSafe! It sticks right on the back and it actually hangs on very well.
3. The Apple battery uses Apples smart tech to properly charge the iPhone. It won’t charge to the point where heat will start to hurt the iPhones battery or the Apple battery pack. Others cannot do that.
4. With Apples battery pack it will work with Apples baked in widgets. I like that.
5. And, a person gets the cool MagSafe animation when attached to the iPhone. I like that.
6. The Apple battery pack is much more efficient at supplying power to the iPhone over any 3rd party battery on the market. That’s because Apples software is baked into the battery pack.
It’s not about the mAh alone. People are not realizing that Apple’s battery pack is doubling the voltage push to 7.5 volts of power. If a person calculates that, they will see Apple’s battery pack more evenly matches the 3rd party batteries than they think.
I actually like it a lot. It performs better than expected but I suspect that is because of the misunderstood specs.
The 1460mAh is a bit misleading because it is actually more than that.
If you calculate the 7.6 volts it has with the 11.13 watt hours, that makes the 1460mAh jump to over 2200mAh of charging a product.
YouTubers had to go back and correct their video because that info wasn’t available when they made their first review videos.
But, overall, I really do like it and it really does perform better than expected and what others initially thought.
Heat will be produced with any wireless charging, no software can stop that as it's the physical nature of wireless charging or any charging. Apple doesn't advertise that it prevents heat

1. Correct! Wireless charging will produce heat no matter what.
2. However, Apple’s software can regulate the Apple battery pack on duration and voltage of charging to regulate certain temperatures.
3. 3rd party wireless battery packs cannot do this because they do not have access to the iOS software.
4. Apple’s battery pack will know if it is running itself or the iPhone too hot and then throttle its charging back to help not kill the battery.
5. Apple’s battery pack is more efficient this way because it can use iOS 14.7 software to help it charge more efficiently.
but third party battery packs do this too. The iPhone has built in charging control that tells the charger to slow down if it's getting too hot or reaches a certain percentage. That tech has existed for years, not just with Apple charging products. It's built into the phone itself. The advantage of magsafe is it perfectly aligns the charger to the Qi coils in the iPhone which can reduce temperatures and make it more efficient
Not to the point of efficiency that Apples own software can do.
Apple battery pack has access to the iPhone itself whereas 3rd parties cannot do that. MagSafe is much more efficient at charging the iPhone than 3rd parties.
Apple chose efficiency over speed and size of battery and that is why the Apple’s battery pack is what it is.
Also, MagSafe is more than just magnets. That is only part of the tech and in most cases 3rd parties fall down with weaker magnets as well to save money in manufacturing. We already see this.
But, the bottom line is that Apple’s battery pack is going to be the most efficient at charging it’s own phone because of the hardware customized to their software that no 3rd party has access to.
I think that’s only when the case is being charged. Or at least that how they make it seem with the product description
I disagree. Maybe your iPhone Pro Max is running low. 40-50 percent is better than 0 percent with no usable iPhone. I think there is a use case across all 12 model iPhones.
, well, I have iPhone 12 mini and if I’m good with it it can last the day, but Pro Max have huge battery and last much longer than mini, which means you won’t need that often external battery, and 40% charge will be enough to get through the rest of the day. So I think that Apple think smart and rationally!
I get that. But, that is not to say you won’t be caught out with a low battery or a dead battery and this supplemental power source will come in handy when not able to charge with an AC adapter.
My Pro Max lasts the entire day without issues.

On Mini ot fits best and looks good, but on Pro Max….looks bad

It is meant as a supplement of power to the iPhone and not a charger. It is two different things. However, Yes, the battery is pretty good in both models but that doesn’t mean you wont get caught out with a low or dead battery and this is a nice thing to have when you are in a situation where AC charging isn’t an option.
11 Pro max has no MagSafe to attach itself to the back. But, it will charge the iPhone wirelessly. Yes. Just no MagSafe support.
Yeah, if a person doesn’t have an iPhone 12, I would definitely say a no go on purchasing the Apple battery pack
If your iPhone is wireless charging capable, yes. You just have to remember anything before the iPhone 12 lineup won’t have MagSafe support.
That’s not exactly accurate. Using the Apple battery pack uses Apples software to charge and is much more efficient than 3rd party brands. Apples battery pack can regulate how the temperature between the iPhone and the Apple battery pack may be affected by the heat and adjust the charging so it wont kill that battery as fast. 3rd parties cannot do that at all. There is more to it than a person thinks because the Apple Battery Pack can use Apples baked in tech whereas 3rd parties cannot. So, yes, there is advantages to the Apple Battery Pack.
I Think Either The Display Connector Or It's Wires Are Loosed. Or It Can Be LCD Damage Too. After Replacement Of Screen, Touch ID Will Not Work.
Buying an iCloud phone n changing the circuit would cost the same but 1000x best rather than changing the display
N.b : u must have to change the display. So if u just change the circuit with the iCloud phone, you will get everything new . I did the same with my broken iPhone

turn off the phone, keep it in the box and in your drawer. that will keep the battery health up and high for a long time.
That's a lot, my iPhone 12 is a year old and still 100% using the Apple 20w charger. The key is not to charge above 80% and not let it go below 30 or 40%, charging too high or letting it go too low puts a lot of strain on lithium batteries. A number of short charges throughout the day is better than one long charge

How exactly is this an issue though. Stop overthinking it and simply use your phone. People psych themselves out with that number and in day to day usage you would never notice it
Oh and batteries wear out with use and every person uses their iPhone differently no matter what. Charging and usage patterns are different no matter what so it’s hard say.

Yup! iOS 15 has been hurting the battery on so many iPhones out there. This is not normal. I have an iPhone XR on iOS 12.4 and the battery life is on 100%!! Had the phone for almost three years!

My iPhone 12 Pro Max is only 8 months old. So for those that are saying “It’s normal” get your head out of your asś! This isn’t normal. iOS 15 is a battery killer.
You will need to replace the battery once it drops below 80%. Chemical elements in the battery do degrade over time. All I can say is that you shouldn’t get it overheated and always charge once it drops below 50 percents. But it can only slow the degradation. As I’ve stated earlier, you will need to replace it in a couple of years or so. My previous iPhone stayed 100 percent for most of the year, then it quickly deteriorated to 93. Still it was good as new, no worries there. I would just scrub that functionality and give a warning once it’s time to replace the bat.
This percentage is an estimate that Apple makes. A possible prediction. That, of course, means nothing at all. Just keep in mind that you have to replace a battery once every 2 to 3 years. New batteries are not that expensive. Luckely, you can easily replace the battery of your iPhone yourself.......

That's pretty normal. My 11 Pro got to 98% on the second month and stayed there for almost a year after that.
Each and every battery is unique. Manufacturers usually give the capacity with a tolerance (±3%, for example). This just means that yours was from the below average group.

It’s not a “problem”. It’s what happens with batteries. I’ve had my 12 Pro for 7 months and it’s at 93%. Very normal.
They shouldn’t start decreasing until at least 6 months later if you have your iPhone cool & don’t let it drop between 30% to 40% battery power and when its reach 30% battery power. Put the iPhone on charge turn off your iPhone while charging & leave it charging over night which reach 100% battery power, but don’t use the iPhone while it is charging because it’s can cause the battery to degrade if you not using while charging plug is in it’s not normally recommended until it’s fully charged at least 80% & not below 80% which can have effect to degrade faster if don’t disconnect it below 80%, but it’s will be 100% in the morning as it’s safer when fully charged overnight while you’ll in bed.
Every battery is different and within tolerances … everyone uses their phone different… you’ve lost 1% in 2 months … it’s fine and completely normal it just means you’ve been using your phone which you paid a lot of money for
I noticed that upgrading to new IOS updates was decreasing my iPhone maximum battery capacity. I stopped upgrading and my percentage is still at 93% since 6 months.
yes my iphone 12 is still on iOS 6 now. i stopped updating the firmware so the battery health will never drop.

I usually start charging my iPhone from 20 or 25% to 100%.
I charge my iPhone only from power bank. Because my power bank when my iPhone reaches 100% my power bank automatically turn off and the charging stop.
That’s good because my battery is not still longer on 100%
And I don’t worry if I sleep in the night and put my phone to charge all night because my iPhone stop when the battery reaches 100%
