Anybody use an aftermarket battery in a T430?

Anybody use an aftermarket battery in a T430? If so, any particular brand?

Reading some contradicting information... Some appear to work, others display a message saying that it's not a genuine battery, and refuse to charge... 🤷‍♂️

With the stuff saying it won't charge, that can be due to lack of the necessary authentication hardware that was added in xx30 batteries. I'm pretty sure your best bets are the 6 and 9 cell batteries from KingSener on AliExpress, believe they have the best reputation for quality

If battery is not genuine, EC mod is possible so it won't discriminate ans will.alwaya attempt to charge batteries. I did it, tutorials are pretty straightforward, only risk-which can be easily mitigated if you read instructiona thoroughly-is about forgotten bios password.
As for batteries themselves, that i cannot say-i don't have much experience other than attempt to recover unofficial battery which was almost dead
