Thinkpad X220: how to run Windows 10 and linux
Hi everyone. Maybe someone can help me with this. I have X220 running Windows 10 and linux. I installed the drivers and everything works fine except Lenovo Vantage. I can't do anything about power settings because Vantage says "Power Management driver is missing". I tried a lot of different things like installing Lenovo recommended PMD, X230 drivers,...... Nothing works! How do you guys work this out? Does your Lenovo Vantage says the same on x220?
Not sure Lenovo officially support 10 on the x220 so I don't think it will work.
Yep, no Lenovo PM works on later w10 versions. There was a big and they didn't care to fix it, same with Passwords Manager
Having the same issue on my new x201, cant check detailed battery stats for cycle counts etc, cant even set battery thresholds through it anymore either
Does your app look like that or the newer version?
Weird, i just finished running the May 1903 Windows 10 update and reinstalled the Lenovo Vantage app and its installed a different version of the app than the one i was using yesterday. The one im on at the moment seems to be the older version and has the threshold/battery stat functions
