Hi
I have thinkpad t480, is there any way to setup timeout for turning off keyboard backlight? Now I have it pernamently turn on and I would like to have it turn off after some time of idle and turn on when I trigger it (by trackpad touch, key press). Also thinkpad doesn't remeber last backlight option, I mean when I turn off my notebook with backlight on then after turning on laptop I need to hit fn + spacebar to active backlight, it there any fix for it?

No? Why would anyone want that?

to save battery?

Then turn them off. It's just FN+Space.

You can use ThinkPad LED controll if I recall, it should have that option. Not too sure but it has an option to disable backligjt when watching a Fullscreen movie
