How can I stop our I phones, [11, 11Pro ] from constantly lowering the volume, we are missing calls. We turn the volume up, then later, somehow the volume is lowered,,, we have tried a couple of things, nothing works,,,,what ever we set volume at, we want it to stay there. In our vehicle, when listening to music,,, and the phone rings, and we answer with vehicle,,, we can not hear the caller,,, we have to turn the radio way up,,,while on the phone. , Also, I remember the old days, when a phone was on vibrate, it would rattle off the counter,,, now, if not in your hand, you do not notice it, that is too bad. So many things we hate about our iPhones,,,,, never again, but we are stuck with them now.

See if this is set: On your device, go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode and see if Attention Aware Features is enabled. If it is enabled, turn it off to see if your issue is fixed.

When this feature is enabled, your iPhone will lower the volume of alerts if you are looking at your iPhone.

Turn of change with buttons, if it’s turned on, when you listen music or video, and you set volume let’s say to 50% it will set ring volume to the same level, by turning this option of ringtone volume will always be the same as you set it with slider above that option.
