Stop charging overnight

That’s what I do and my batter is ok

I always charge my phone overnight, it’s now almost 2y old and still 95% lol

I charge overnight all the time

I've had mine for a year. Still 100%. I charge mine every night to 100% battery. Don't let it get too hot often. Use an apple suggested charger.

Delete the background apps and don't use the phone when charging

It’s not because of the update. A battery is a consumable, and as Apple says on their website: “Your battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 500 complete charge cycles.”

There are so many factors that can affect the batteries. Weather for example, if you live in a country with colder or hotter climates, it can affect the batteries chemicals, and it’s nearly impossible to pinpoint what can be the cause because of the amount of different things that can cause your percentage to go down.

You wouldn’t expect the batteries in your remote control to your TV to last forever, would you?

I think the most important thing is to stop worrying about the battery health and just use the device normally and enjoy it. 🙂

Don’t do update anymore, and your battery will remain 96% forever..

Remember! Don’t update!! 😆

1. Charge 20% to 80% (+~- 5%)
2. Turn off background refresh
3. Turn off vibration in general mode
4. Turn off location mode (if not necessary)
And let the battery recalibration on this own
