Hi. Does anyone having a solution how to make the WWAN 4G LTE modem work, under ArchLinux , at the moment BSPWM tiling window manager. So am having a SIM card, and would be good to setup the cellular connection to work. Not many people use Linux, less Arch , less having a Thinkpad, or using the WWAN port/card for a 4G modem. We tried the ArchWiki solution, but or something missing, or we wasnt able to solve it. It worked perfectly on Win10 before the distro hopp.

I'm looking through here right now(as you mentioned you did already too), sorry I do not use Arch, I was lazy and I use Mint. But I figure if it works on one distro, it will work on Arch 😉

make sure your apn is set correctly too from your service provider, actually get the whole information from your service provider, set the config like you would manually set up your android cell, hope this helps

tried this from the text, but some APN part is missing when we want to execute the etc/qmi-network.conf or the modprobe. In status things were missing unfortunately

who's your service provider?

Yettel, aka Telenor. It says APN: internet, username: yettel, password: gprs , from thair website but missing something, or not valid. It said: unset, and some RFKill

after work, I'll look into it, just on my way to my second chef job. I'm sure I can figure this out for you 🙂
