Hello guys, I have a problem since some days with my 2 year old lenovo thinkpad e595.
When started the computer the power button led is on, the charger led is on, the i button of thinkpad is also on the vantilator is turning. But the display remains dark, off.
Did someone here already have that problem, it seems like I a common problem of this lenovo serie. I will be happy if someone can help.

Have you tried any of the Function Buttons, there is one for Video.

yes I tried some of them F1, F11..

Try F5, F6 and F7. This is after the PC has booted. You tried the F1 and F11 and that is when it is booting.

Hold the power button down for 10 full seconds then try again
Might try plugging in an HDMI or VGA monitor while it is off.

I found this proposition in some forum, I tried them but I didn't work.. I even open the computer disconnected the charger for a while then connected it again... Nothing

Nothing with external monitor either???

nothing it remain off. I saw a solution on YouTube, it's a bios, software problem. It's seems to be complicated to solve

There should be a small pinhole button on the bottom of the machine. Use a paperclip and press the button beneath the pinhole for 10-15 seconds and try starting it again.

unfortunately the ThinkPad lenovo E595 don't have that button, I saw this solution too, but not useful for me >:/

Shoot. And no matter how long you hold the power button down, it doesn't shut off?

It shit off, I can use the power button as usual, but the screen remain dark

'shut' off sorry

Do one thing before you have to open up your machine. Try applying pressure on the bottom bezel on the display while the machine is running. Just slight pressure with your thumb, starting from the left side and just keep pressing all the way over to the right.
