what does "acpi -V" show up with in terminal?

you can go ahead and install it, then run the command again

--version and -V (capital V) are different flags

-V should print out "everything" about your power, battery, and thermal status

it seems like the battery is detected, but isnt charging for some reason

cam you next run:
upower -i `upower -e | grep 'BAT'`

and then send screenshot of the output?
(` is a backtick, ' is a single apostrophe)

also, what is the rated wattage of your charger?

looks like it just started charging by itself, thank anyway!

guessing it's because the voltage was too low for the battery to start charging safely, hopefully no other issues for you

Does it is a real original battery from original (country) store? Some batteries need 'hacks' for not original batteries.
What is shown if you use: inxi -B ?

If you have installed the battery condition (2):
1: *-battery
Produkt: 5B10X025
Hersteller: Sunwoda
Physische ID: 1
Steckplatz: Front
Kapazit├Ąt: 45010mWh
Konfiguration: voltage=11,1V
2: Battery:
ID-1: BAT0 charge: 14.8 Wh condition: 42.0/45.0 Wh (93%)

looks like it just started charging by itself, thank anyway!

a friend told me that it could be to calibrate the battery in first use. So thanks for your answer.
