Hello! Thank you for the add! I picked this old girl up for $50 and she is in great shape all thing considered. However and e565 is not a super desirable model so there is little replacement part info. I was wondering if anyone knew of other models that used the same keyboard part number so I could use that to find a proper replacement for the track point nub? I hope this is a loud since I'm not asking anyone to sell me parts. Just parts compatibility but if not please delete all mighty mods! Thank you all!

Parts from the e560 will be an exact match. The 0 or 5 at the end just indicates Intel or AMD processors. 0 for Intel, 5 for AMD.

perfect! That is the exact piece of info I needed confirmation on. I was pretty sure it was something like that but it has been a few years so I wanted to make sure. And yes with a n A10 chip she is a space heater lol definitely old amd

I checked a while ago on Aliexpress and they sell pckages of at leas 5 o 10 of them for a few bucks

yes but there are a lot of different size compatibilities but that's where my issue is. I have not found many that list and e565.

I didn't knw the size where diferent, because for what i know, the square where the nub is placed is the same size and the size and form of the top is what changes

It seems like there are 2 sizes for the pins themselves then heights. But I can't find info for either on my specific model. It is not a popular model at all so I might be the only person looking for it. I'm just hoping someone knows another more popular model that uses the same keyboard part number that I can use for reference
