there is a problem with my thinkpad t460s. My memory when I first bought it was 8G. After a period of use, I now realize it doesn't recognize the removable 4G memory stick anymore. I have tried opening it up, but the problem is still not fixed. Its sense of touch is still very new. give me solution please

1. Clean the ram slot carrefully, you can watch at youtube how to do that.

2. Try using another RAM stick, if still not detected, maybe you have issue with your RAM slot.

Is it detected in bios? Do you have a replacement stick to test if the stick is faulty?

Unfortunately I don't have a second stick of ram to test. I also don't know how to check if it's recognized in bios or not

Tap F1 repeatedly when the Thinkpad logo appears at boot should get you to bios.
There should be an option to check the system specs of the computer including the amount of ram.
