Thinkpad T480: can someone help me i can't install windows 10/11 on my T480 when i try
can someone help me i can't install windows 10/11 on my T480 when i try to boot in my bootable flash drive the laptop just froze and restart but when i install other os like ubuntu it works fine.
Win 10/11 dont even recognize more than half our TP factory features and wont allow use of them yet wastes over 10gb hard drive space etc
Unplug the power and battery, pull CMOS battery out, hold power button down, put it all back, try again
So often you need to check the bios/uefi settings for boot. If it’s set to uefi only try changing it to legacy mode and that might work.
Also, if you have multiple drives in the t480 remove or disable the non boot drive first so there is no issue where it puts the os on one drive but the boot loader on another
hmmm….that might be your problem then. I remember having an issue where I couldn’t install windows until it was set to legacy mode
