Is it worth picking up X280?

I know RAM is not upgradeable, but I only use it for light tasks, web browsing

How much would you pay?

i got 2 of them recently for my kids schoolwork. instead of going for chromebook i went for x280. core i5 8th gen, 8gb ram, 240gb ssd, fhd + touchscreen panel. paid about $220usd all in for each

the one I found only with HD display.. but with 12.5", does it really matter?

I got offered USD170

double check if its HD or FHD. if its HD i would stay away from it.

Seller confirmed it's HD

HD is 1366 x 768 screen resolution or 720p. not that good for a 12.5in screen. and most probably its not IPS too.

Skip for 16GB if you actually want to use it often

if you can get it for $200 USD or less then that would be a good deal.

can get at USD170, worth buying? It's HD display

yeah that's a good deal based on the specs you posted.

just bothered by 8gb and HD display

go ahead with that deal…

at $170 USD for 8GB and HD display is still a good deal imo. Yes 16 would be ideal, but you'll have to pay probably $250 for it.

I'd prefer X395 because cheaper, can get for approx $160 here.

wow that's really good price. Over here is at least double of x280
